Name: Gene O’Connor
I joined the gym 4 years ago at the age of 56 when it was Gold’s Gym. I had tw o knees that had given out under my weight. The doctor’s found my knees were very badly worn from years of physical work and suggested I join a gym.
After two years at the gym my knees were getting better, but they got tired and sore from carrying my extra weight so that by 3:00 in the afternoon I had to rest them. So I signed up for the Nutritionalysis program at the gym.
Under the guidance and teaching of the staff, I lost 44 pounds in 12 weeks and my percentage of body fat went down substantially. My beginning weight was 238 pounds. I lost 6 inches in my waist and went from an extra large to a large or medium shirt.
Now at the age of 60 and completing the program with the nutritional information that was provided, I have continued to maintain my weight loss and feel better than when I was 40 years old.
I am able to do all the things I used to do with no pain. My last physical brought test results that the doctor said were perfect. Recently I went for my annual orthopedic appointment and the specialist told me, “Keep up the good work” and that I wouldn’t need an appointment next year.
The gym changed names since I joined. However, the people who own and operate the gym continue to maintain a clean, well-equipped facility. They retained the same staff with the well being of their clients as their first priority.
I would highly recommend this gym, as well as the nutrition program to anyone at any age.
