BodyBurn With Bob Lang Why is this type of workout so effective?

A well structured BODYBURN workout can burn more calories than running, aerobics, and many other workouts.

One of the reasons is the constant switching into different positions and working many muscles with bodyweight exercises and compound movements with both barbells and dumbbells. When you do something like run, bike, or use the elliptical machine the human body gets super efficient at mechanically doing the movement so that it can use less and less energy to perform the same amount of exercise. So what do we commonly do? Well of course we increase the amount of time on such a machine or even add to the intensity. The problem is where does it end? Adaptation still occurs quickly and within a couple weeks those daily runs or jaunts on the elliptical machine just aren’t burning the fat like they used to.

Simply going from doing pushups to getting yourself off of the ground and doing dumbbell presses, pull ups, wall balls, and even squat thrusts to name a few, requires a lot of energy and uses a lot of muscles(lean tissue) constantly switching things up. BODYBURN exercises will give you a full body workout and can burn fat fast in only 30 minutes a few days a week. The classes will be ever changing. No two classes will ever be the same. I will be there to coach you along and ensure you are doing the exercises correctly as well as efficiently which in turn will be safe. The workouts are timed. You, and at times your partner, will move to the next station by the sound of a whistle and I will prompt you by my voice as well.

The classes are free for the first timers, and then $5 per class. Sign up sheet is available at the front desk and a maximum of twenty members per class. This may involve partners which gives you that little extra motivation aka “competition”.
